Mabel Morgan, 96, Casey County, KY (1924-2021)

Mabel Morgan of Middleburg passed away on Saturday January 9, 2021, at the Liberty Care Center. She was 96 years old.

Funeral Services will be held privately, for family only, on Wednesday at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel, with great-grandson Pastor Hunter Chadwell officiating. Burial will follow in the Willow Springs Cemetery.

A walk through visitation will be held from 5pmET until 8pmET on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel.

Due to State Mandate: Masks will be required for the funeral and visitation. For the health and respect of the family please follow all rules for social distancing.



She was born in Gilpin, KY on March 17th, 1924 a daughter of the late Arthur "Buck" and Lucy Copley Hoskins.

Mabel was the widow of Junior Morgan who passed away on June 26th, 1986.

Mabel was a housewife, she loved to quilt and set on her back porch.

Survivors include: Four Sons: Ronald and (Alice) Morgan and Garnett Morgan and (Karen Pendleton) both of Liberty, Arnold and (Kathy) Morgan and David and (Donna) Morgan both of Middleburg, Patty Watson of Danville, Sue and (Bill) Chadwell of Franklin, IN and Regina Terry and (Doug Ellis) of Hustonville, Nineteen Grandchildren, Twenty Six Great Grandchildren, Eighteen Great Great Grandchildren, One Great Great Great Grandchild, Two Sisters: JoAnn Harris of Stanford and Wanda Byrd of Hustonville, One Brother: Boyd Hoskins of Liberty and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death besides her parents and spouse was Two Daughters: Gay Allen and Anna Lou Morgan, One Son: Donald Ray Morgan, Two Son-in-Laws, One Daughter-in-Law,One Granddaughter: Deborah Jo Lee, Five Sisters: Mary Ellen Morgan, Dorothy Long, Ruth Lawson, Lillian Morgan and Genova Kay Hoskins and Three Brothers: Al, Carl and Morris Hoskins.
