Elsie Ann Brewster, 85, Casey Co., KY native (1935-2021)

Elsie Ann Brewster of Lincoln County passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2021, at her residence. She was 85 years old.

Funeral services will be at 1pmET on Thursday, January 14, 2021, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville St, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Kevin Pittman officiating. Burial will follow in the Willow Springs Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5pmET until 8pmET on Wednesday, January 13, 2021, at the funeral home. Social distancing guidelines must be followed by everyone in attendance. Facial coverings are required.



Born February 9, 1935, in Casey County, KY, she was a daughter of the late Kelly and Gertrude Hendren Richardson. Elsie was a 50 year member of the Mt. Salem Baptist Church. She enjoyed quilting and participating in Church functions.

Survivors include her sons, Dwight (and Kathy) Brewster of Glendora, MI, Henry Brewster of Hustonville, Jessie (and Tina) Brewster of New Buffalo, MI, and James Brewster of Covert, MI; daughters, Mae Raske of Hustonville, Theresa Butler (and Harold Boker) of Bridgman, MI, and Doris (and Russell) Rodgers of Casey County; 25 grandchildren; 71 great-grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Brewster; stepmother, Rena Evans Richardson; 12 siblings; and one deceased grandchild.
