Lavelle Shepherd, Adair County, KY native (1933-2021)

W. Lavelle Shepherd, formerly of Adair County, KY went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 29, 2020 after a valiant battle with cancer.

Lavelle was born September 9, 1933 in Columbia to the late Rollin and Frances (nee McLean) Farris. Wife of 66 years to the late Morris Shepherd, both longtime supporters of Lindsey Wilson College.



She is survived by her three sons, Greg (Melanie) Shepherd of Cleveland, TN, Timothy (Gina) Shepherd of Cincinnati, OH and Brian Shepherd of Harrison, OH. She will be missed by her four grandchildren, Eric, Emilee, Ryan and Brooke and her nine great-grandchildren. Lavelle is the dear sister of Anita Hancock.

Lavelle was a member of Central Parkway Church of God (Bridge of Hope). She was active in her church and community. She is a graduate of Lindsey Wilson College in Columbia.

Visitation was at Church on Fire, Harrison (10544 Harrison Ave, Harrison, OH 45030) on Saturday January 2, 2021 and followed by a graveside service on Monday, January 4, 2021 at Rest Haven Cemetery in Cincinnati, OH.
