Bobby David Brockman, 69, Russell Springs, KY (1951-2021)

Bobby David Brockman of Russell Springs passed away on Saturday, January 2, 2021, at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. He was 69 years old.

Funeral services are scheduled for 1pmCT on Saturday, January 9, 2021, at Bernard Funeral Home, 367 N. Main St., Russell Springs, KY, with Brother Phillip Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from NoonCT until 1pmCT on Saturday, January 9, 2021, at Bernard Funeral Home.

Social distancing guidelines must be followed by everyone in attendance. Facial coverings are required.



Born on April 22, 1951, in Russell County, Kentucky, he was a son of the late Evert and Oma Marie Bolin Brockman. David was a former bus driver. He enjoyed music and playing various musical instruments.

Survivors include one son, David Brockman; one daughter, Dawn Brockman; four grandchildren; one sister, Marie Pittman; one brother, James Brockman; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Scales Brockman; one daughter, Rebecca Martinez; and two brothers, Carlus Brockman and Harlus Brockman.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Bernard Funeral Home to offset funeral expenses.
