Ricky Melson, 57, Jamestown, KY (1963-2021)

Ricky Melson of Jamestown passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2021, at UK Hospital. He was 57 years old.

Funeral services will be held at 1pmCT on Saturday, January 9, 2021, at Wilson Funeral Home, 391 East Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Eugene Tiller officiating. Interment will follow in Bethlehem Separate Baptist Church Cemetery, West Highway 80, Russell Springs, KY.

Visitation will be held at 11amCT on Saturday, January 9, 2021, at Wilson Funeral Home, 391 East Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, KY.

He was born on Tuesday, November 5, 1963, in Columbia, Kentucky.

He was the son of the late Flonnie Tiller Melson and the late J. D. Melson.

Survivors include:
  • A Sister, Rhonda Boldman, spouse Shannon, of Copperas Cove TX
  • A Brother, Jerry Melson, spouse Irene, of Russell Springs KY
  • Several nieces and nephews
He was a long time employee of Russell County EMS, Fruit of the Loom and BRUSS North America. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Jeff Melson and sister in law, Nancy Melson
