David Lynn Akin, 77, Columbia, KY (1943-2020) David Lynn Akin of Columbia passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2020, at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. He was 77 years old. The funeral service will be held at 1pmCT on Monday, January 4, 2021, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Jimmie D. Cox officiating. Burial will follow in Haven Hill Cemetery. Visitation is requested after 10amCT on Monday. All attendees to the visitation and/or funeral are required to wear a facial covering and follow the Healthy At Work guidelines. He was born April 15, 1943, in Glens Fork, Kentucky, to the late Oris Guy and Dorothy Mae Stotts Akin. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister, Oris Jr., Larry & Ricky Akin, Enola Grant. David was a member and Deacon of Bethany Baptist Church and owner/operator of D&P Trucking. Survivors include:
