Hallie Elizabeth Reeder, 96, Russell County, KY

Hallie Elizabeth Reeder, of Russell Springs, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2020. She was 96 years of age.

Born on August 30, 1924, in Clinton County, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Chester and Allie Elizabeth Morgan Bledsoe. Hallie was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a member of Bethlehem Separate Baptist Church.



Survivors include two sons, Larry Reeder and Gary Reeder, both of Russell Springs; five grandchildren, Dana (and Michael) Carpenter, Heath (and Makfire) Reeder, Derek (and Angela) Reeder, Kyle (and Rachel) Reeder, and Lindsey (and Allen) Sirizi; and ten great-grandchildren, Chase, Camden, Carigann, Evan, Mason, Blake, Sophie, Nora, Liv, and Luke.

In addition to her parents, Hallie was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Reeder, who passed away on September 2, 1988; one daughter, Joyce Reeder; one brother, Harold Reeder; and two sisters, Christine Mills and Mary Keaton.

Funeral services are 1pmCT Saturday, December 19, 2020, at Bernard Funeral Home with Brother Richard Antle officiating. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 10am-1pmCT Saturday.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to: Bethlehem Cemetery, c/o Peggy Loy, 3008 West Highway 80, Russell Springs, Kentucky 42642.

Social distancing guidelines must be followed by everyone in attendance. Facial coverings are required.
