David Hodges Milby, 76, Greensburg, KY (1944-2020)

David Hodges Milby of Greensburg passed away on Wednesday, December 2, 2020. He was 76 years old.

Graveside services for David Hodges Milby will be conducted at 10amCT on Saturday, December 5, 2020, at the Carlisle-Milby Cemetery, with Bro. Dennis Penick officiating.

A walk-through only visitation is requested from 4pmCT until 7pmCT on Friday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, and from 7amCT until 9amCT on Saturday. Due to Covid-19, please continue to practice social distancing and face coverings are required.

David Hodges Milby of Greensburg, Kentucky, son of the late Grady Owen Milby and Esther White Milby, was born on Friday, May 19, 1944 in Green County.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ, was a member of the Beech Grove Baptist Church, was a farmer, and loved his beagle hounds.

Survivors include a sister-in-law: Inflice Milby of Greensburg; and special nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends, and good neighbors.

Besides his parents, Mr. Milby was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters: Russell E. Milby, Kenneth Milby, Terry Gordon Milby, Bonnie Strader, Margaret Penick, and Geneva Penick.

The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Gideon Bible Fund, or the Beech Grove Baptist Church Building Fund, which can be made at the funeral home.
