Mary Frances Wright Mars, 86, Green County, KY

Mary Frances Wright Mars was born January 6, 1934 in Green County, Kentucky to the late Fred and Mary Lucy Rodgers Wright. She departed this life Wednesday, December 2, 2020. She attained the age of eighty-six years, eleven months, and one day.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Oak Grove Separate Baptist Church. She was a homemaker, worked for Home Health, Green County Schools Lunchroom and the Green Hill Cafeteria, and she was a farmer. She was a member of the Greensburg Chapter 232 Order of Eastern Star and a member of Mae's Homemakers. She loved playing Bunko, farming, and all the activities at Green Hill Manor.



She was united in marriage to her husband Ausbon "Bill" Mars on December 13, 1952 who precedes her in death. Besides her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by one son: Daryl A. Mars; one daughter: Glenda Dixon; and two sisters: Joyce Robertson and Zelma Mars.

She is survived by one daughter: Carolyn Frances Robertson and her husband Doug of Greensburg; four granddaughters: Amber Pegram and her husband Britt of Greensburg; Breanna Robertson of Danville; Nicole Thurman and her husband Roger and Amanda Burton both of Columbia; six great-grandchildren: Alivia, Braddock, Branston Pegram, Brayden and Millie Gilpin, and Abigail Parks; two step great-grandchildren: Josiah and Zhanyta Thurman. Plus, a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Frances Wright Mars will be conducted privately at the Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Separate Baptist Church Cemetery in the Grab Community of Green County. A walk-through visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m., Central Time, Friday December 4, 2020 and after 7 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers: Doug Robertson, Carolyn Robertson, Britt Pegram, Kobie Wood, Dale Judd, Teresa Judd

Honorary Pallbearers: Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren

The family has requested expressions of sympathy can be made to the Oak Grove Cemetery Fund or to the Green Hill Nursing Home Recreation Fund and these can be made at the funeral home.

Due to State Mandated Guidelines funeral services are limited to 25 individuals. Please wear a mask at all times and continue maintaining a minimum of 6 feet social distancing.
