Bess Meeks, 55, Yosemite, KY (1965-2020) Bess Meeks of Yosemite passed away on Tuesday December 1, 2020, at her residence. She was 55 years old. Due to current COVID restrictions, a private visitation and funeral service will be held on Saturday, with Steve England officiating. Burial will follow in the Glenwood Cemetery. The funeral service for Bess Meeks will be live-streamed on Bartle Funeral Home's Facebook page beginning at 2pmET on Saturday. She was born in Mansfield, OH on April 14th, 1965 a daughter of the late Carl and Barbara Ann Romery Wirick. Bess was an employee of Dr. Schneider Automotive Systems. Survivors include: Her Spouse: James Hershel Meeks, Two Sons: John and (Tasha) Propes Jr. and Michael and (Casey) Propes both of Liberty, One Daughter: Lisa Teeters of Frankfort, One Step-Daughter: Tiffany Taylor of Liberty, Ten Grandchildren: Mikayla, Colby, Marley, Shelby, Sidney, Cage, Cameron, Brandon, Mercedes and Brandi and Three Sisters: Mary Haywood of IL, Allyson White of OH and Jean Chambers of AR. Preceding her in death besides her parents was Two Grandchildren: Krista and Jailyn Propes, One Brother: David Wirick and One Sister: Maggie Pyles. Bartle Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
