Victoria Elizabeth (Bess) Harvey, 90, Columbia, KY (1930-2020)

Victoria Elizabeth "Bess" Harvey Columbia passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2020, in Burkesville, KY. She was 90 years old.

Private funeral services will be held at 1pmCT on Sunday, November 29, 2020, at the Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, with Bro. Jessie Hagan & Bro. Larry Lemmon officiating. Burial will follow in the Fudge Cemetery. The funeral service will be live streamed on Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home facebook page.



Born February 19, 1930, in Adair County she was the daughter of the late Olie and Alpha Brummett Sexton and wife of the late Charles Preston Reece and Noel Harvey.

Mrs. Harvey was a member of the Harrods Fork Baptist Church and attended the Breeding United Methodist Church and she loved to cook, work her vegetable & flower gardens.

Survivors include her Step Children Terry Harvey (Brenda) of Breeding, KY and Tony Harvey (Beverly) of Breeding, KY; a granddaughter Shannon Tipton (Ray) of Shepherdsville, KY; great grandchildren Tyler Tipton, Chase Reece, Sadie Reece & Sophie Tipton; step-grandchild Brandon Harvey (Ashley) of Breeding, KY; step great grandchildren Zachary Brett Harvey & Toby Harvey; two daughter in laws Rhonda Reece of Shepherdsville, KY and Brenda Reece of Russell Springs, KY; a brother Stanley Lewis Sexton of Louisville, KY; special friend and sister in law Barbara Sue Lile (Bill); special caregivers Martha Lacy, Joe Wheeler and Wanda Janes and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husbands she was preceded in death by two sons Timothy Lewis Reece and Charles Preston "Charlie" Reece Jr.; a grandson Chuck Reece II; six Siblings James Austin Sexton, Odell B. Sexton, Davis Sexton, Lanie Sexton Munday, L.V Janes & Mayrene Gibson.

Pallbearers will be Micah Harvey, Chris Janes, Ray Tipton, Tyler Tipton, Chase Reece & Billy Sexton.
