Audrey Shepherd Pike, 88, Russell Springs, KY (1932-2020)

Audrey Shepherd Pike of Russell Springs passed away on Monday, November 16, 2020, at Metcalfe Health Care. She was 88 years of age.

Funeral services will be held at 1pmCT on Thursday, November 19, 2020, at Bernard Funeral Home, 367 N. Main St., Russell Springs, KY, with Brother Troy Grider officiating. Burial will follow in Tarter Cemetery.

A Walk-Through visitation will be held from NoonCT to 1pmCT on Thursday, November 19, 2020, at Bernard Funeral Home. Social distancing guidelines must be followed by everyone in attendance. Facial coverings are required.



Born on February 8, 1932, in Adair County, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Seathy and Gertie Holt Shepherd. Audrey was a former employee of Russell Sportswear and attended Millerfield Brethren in Christ Church. Audrey enjoyed quilting and cooking for her family. She adored her grandchildren.

Survivors include one son, Chris (and Tracey) Pike of Russell Springs; one daughter, Gina Pike (and Victor Vaughn) of Russell Springs; one brother, Alan Shepherd of Idaho; and two sisters, Agnes Beard of Jamestown and Louise Harden of Columbia. Audrey is also survived by five grandchildren, Jason (and Ryan) Harris, Dustin Harris, Anthony Alley, Ethan Pike, and Kacey Pike; eight great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and Gina's dog, Charlie, whom she loved like a grandchild.

In addition to her parents, Audrey was preceded in death by a daughter, Gwendy Harris; three brothers, Robert Shepherd, Gerald Shepherd, and James Shepherd; and two sisters, Margaret Griffen and Elaine Roy.

Ethan Pike, Kacey Pike, Scott Harris, Anakin Harris, Sawyer Harris, and Victor Vaughn will serve as Audrey's pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be sent to: Millerfield Brethren in Christ Church, c/o Ashley Curry, 211 Handcock Road, Columbia Kentucky 42728.

Audrey's funeral arrangements are entrusted to Bernard Funeral Home. An online guestbook is available at www.bernardfuneralhome.com.
