Jack Acree, 88, Metcalfe County, KY Jack Demsey Acree, age 88, of Edmonton passed away November 3, 2020 at NHC Healthcare. He was an Army veteran and served in Germany. Jack was the second child born to the late Ledford Morris Acree and Laura Harper Acree of Edmonton. Jack married Kitty Sue Compton also of Edmonton who survives. Together they had two children who survive Peter (Ann) Acree of Summer Shade and Jill (Paul) Harper of Edmonton, eight grand children, twenty great grandchildren and one great great great-grandchild. One sister Meriel Bunch of Edmonton Special caregivers; Son Peter Acree, Michelle Hamilton and Deana Dyer. A private family funeral service will be held Thursday November 5, 2020 at McMurtrey Funeral Home with burial to follow in the FoundationCemetery near Edmonton. A walkthrough visitation will be held Thursday November 5, 2020 from 11:00 Am till time for the funeral at 1:00 pm. Face masks are required, temperatures will be taken and no food or drink will be allowed in the funeral home. Everyone must social distance. The family wants to take this opportunity to thank Golden Years Senior Care, NHC Healthcare, TJ Samson Hospital, TJ Home Health, TJ Hospice Care and McMurtrey Funeral Home for their care and support.
