Salvation Army Angel Tree Program needs sponsors

By Debra Cowan

Dear Adair County Community,

The Adair County Service Unit of The Salvation Army will once again be providing the Angel Tree Christmas assistance program for our community. This program provides Christmas gifts to qualifying Adair County children ages six months to fifteen years and is made possible with community support.

While the program was successfully conducted in a different manner last year, we are returning to our traditional program this year due to COVID 19 restrictions.

In order to be successful, we need community members, churches and other organizations to "adopt an Angel".

At your request, a paper Angel with information about an Adair County child will be delivered to you or your organization.

We ask that you purchase items for that specific child and return the gifts to The Salvation Army by December 17, 2020.

Financial contributions and donations of new toys, hygiene items, new coats, socks, etc., are also accepted. For information about this program, please contact any Family Resource Youth Services Center Coordinator:
  • Debbie Cowan- 270-384-9112
  • Paula Garrison- 270-384-9752
  • Jaime White- 270-384-6050
  • Kara Iqbal- 270-384-7617
In Christ's love,
The Adair County Service Unit
The Salvation Army
