Charles Obeginski, 81, Russell Springs, KY (1939-2020)

Charles Obeginski of Russell Springs passed away Thursday, October 29, 2020 at T.J. Sampson Hospital. He was 81 years old.

Interment was private at Square Oak Cemetery.

He was born on Saturday, October 21, 1939, in Bellville, MI, the son of the late John and Mary Obeginski.

Survivors include:
  • His wife, Barbara Obeginski, of Russell Springs, KY
  • A daughter, Kelly Obeginski, of Colorado Springs CO
  • Two sons: Jefferey Obeginski, of Tampa FL, and Scott (Heriana) Obeginski, of Magnolia TX.
  • A brother, Albert Obeginski, Bellville, MI
  • Three grandchildren: Scott Jr., Larissa and Natalia.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

He was a master electrician and formerly a meat cutter and managed meat departments in grocery stores. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He and his wife retired to Russell Springs and he designed the house he and his wife lived in.
