Thelma Ward Curry, Green County, KY (1942-2020) Thelma Ward Curry was born July 2, 1942 in Green County, Kentucky to the late Benjamin and Emma Berry Ward. She departed this life Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at her home, having attained the age of seventy-eight years, three months, and twenty-five days. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Green Hill Baptist Church. She was a Customer Service Representative for Kentucky Farm Bureau for 51 plus years. She was united in marriage to her husband Jim Curry. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers Wayne Ward and Billy Ward. Besides her husband, she is survived by one son and daughter-in-law: Tim and Amy Curry; one daughter and son-in-law: Melony and Israel Slinker; one sister: Adele Larimore; seven grandchildren: Austin Curry, Haylee Curry, Kylee Curry, Emma Renfrow, Grant Renfrow, Gracie Slinker, and Logan Slinker, all of Greensburg., plus a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Thelma Curry will be conducted 10 a.m., Central Time, Friday, October 30, 2020 at the Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Janes officiating. Burial will follow in the Green County Memory Gardens in the Summersville Community of Green County. Walk-through visitation is requested from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m., Central Time, Thursday, October 29 and after 7 a.m., Central Time, Friday, October 30 until the funeral hour.
