ACSO: Single vehicle accident on Hwy 80

On Sunday, October 18, 2020, at 5:55pmCT, the Adair County Sheriff's Office was dispatched to a single vehicle collision two miles west of Columbia on KY 80.

Preliminary investigation shows that Sarah Mast, 18, was traveling west in a 2012 Ford passenger van when her vehicle began to slide in a left leaning curve. Her vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree before coming to rest against an earth embankment.



Mast was treated by Adair County EMS, then transported to TJ Health Columbia.

Deputy Josh Durbin is investigating the collision, and he was assisted on scene by the Columbia Adair County Fire Department along with Adair County EMS.
