ACSO: Two vehicle collision on Edmonton Road

By Sheriff Josh Brockman
Adair County Sheriff's Office

On Thursday, October 15, 2020, the Adair County Sheriff's Office responded to the junction of Edmonton Road and Lampton Lane for a two vehicle accident.

A preliminary investigation determined a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado was traveling South, operated by Savon Stapp of Columbia. Stapp failed to stop at the stop sign, and traveled into the path of a 2017 Lincoln traveling East, operated by Laura Burress of Columbia.

Adair County EMS transported both operators to T.J Health Columbia for injuries.

Deputy Derek Padgett investigated the collision. He was assisted on the scene by Adair County Fire Department, Adair County EMS and Kentucky State Police.
