Important deadlines in the 2020 General Election

The last day to register to vote in the 2020 General Election is Monday, October 5, 2020. You can register to vote online at Elect.ky.gov. You may also register in the Clerk's Office, 424 Public Square, Ste 3, Columbia KY 42728 by 4pmCT.

The deadline to request an absentee ballot be mailed to you is 11:59pmET on Friday, October 9, 2020. You may request your ballot online at GoVoteKy.com.

You may also call our office at 270-384-2801; the deadline to call our office to request your ballot by mail is 4pmCT on October 9, 2020.

How can I return my ballot?
A ballot drop-off box is located in the Adair County Clerk's Office, 424 Public Square, Ste3, Columbia. You may drop off your ballot during normal business hours, Monday through Friday from 8amCT to 4pmCT and on Saturdays from 8amCT to NoonCT.

If you prefer, you may return your completed ballot by mail in the included postage paid envelope.
