Lorena Smith, 86, Green Co., KY (1934-2020)

Mrs. Lorena Smith of Green County passed away on August 26, 2020. She was 86 years old.

Funeral services will be held at NoonET on Saturday, September 5, 2020 at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home, 209 W Court St., Greensburg, KY, with Rev. Mike Ash, Eulogy and Pastor Darryl Taylor, Officiant. Burial will follow in Green County Memory Gardens, Summersville, KY.

A walk through visitation will be held from 10amET until the funeral hour at NoonET on Saturday, September 5 at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg.



Mrs. Lorena Smith was born June 27, 1934 in Green County, KY to the late William Arvin and Birdie Alice Thornton Richardson. She departed this life Wednesday evening, August 26, 2020 at the Grandview Nursing and Rehab in Campbellsville, having attained the age of eighty-six years, one month and twenty-nine days.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Jacob Grove Baptist Church. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Grant Ulyis Smith, two sisters and one brother: Vernice Robinson, Nancy Ann Owens and William Lee (Bud) Richardson, three grandchildren: Demmetraus (Dee) Smith, Troy Smith and Triston Smith.

She is survived by four daughters and five sons: Earlene Bradshaw of Jamestown, Grant and Susan Smith , Jr. of Lebanon, JoAnn and Ray Williams, Robert Lee (Bobby) Smith, Dwight David and Pearl Smith and Lucy Mae and Stanley Bucker of Aurora, Illinois, Marie and Dale Ford of Campbellsville, Adam Lawrence Smith of Aurora, Illinois, Gary Lee Smith of Campbellsville, two sisters: Odessa Ford of Campbellsville and Henrietta Clark of Lawton, Oklahoma, forty-one grandchildren, thirty-six great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, plus a host of other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers: DeRonte Smith, Joseph Williams, Jason Williams, William Smith, Samuel Moffett, Daishon Smith, Adam Smith, Jr, Jeremiah Malone

Honorary Pallbearers: Billie Gene Mitchell, Eudell Thornton, Harold Bradshaw, Ray Williams, Dale Ford, Stanley Buckner
