Michael Steven Ray, 36, Greensburg, KY (1984-2020)

Michael Steven Ray of Greensburg passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2020 at his home. He was 36 years old.

The funeral services for Michael Steven Ray will be conducted at 10amCT on Thursday, July 30, 2020 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main St., Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Tabernacle Cemetery. Bro. Steve Lee and Bro. Josh Fennell will be officiating.

Walk through visitation is requested from 4pmCT until 7pmCT on Wednesday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, and after 8amCT on Thursday until the time of the funeral service. Due to Covid-19 mandates and restrictions, please practice mask wearing and social distancing.



Michael Steven Ray of Greensburg, Kentucky, son of Michael "Mike" Ray and Peggy Sue Huckaby Ray both of Greensburg, was born on Saturday, February 11, 1984 in Taylor County, Kentucky.

He was a truck driver for Ryder, and also for Hobdy, Dye, Read, Inc. He also loved to hunt and fish.

Besides his parents, he is survived by his wife, Chenoa Drake Ray of Greensburg, having united in marriage on April 28, 2007.

Other survivors include a son and daughter: Carson Ray and Kailie Ray both of Greensburg; father-in-law and mother-in-law: C.R. and Terri Drake of Adair County; grandfather: Dea Ray of Greensburg; sister-in-law & brother-in-law: Carla and Josh Fennell of Indiana; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the family burial expenses, which can be made at the funeral home.
