Leona Pike, 91, Campbellsville, KY (1928-2020)

Leona Pike of Campbellsville passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2020. She was 91 years old.

The funeral service will be held at 1pmET on Friday, July 24, 2020, at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Ave., Campbellsville, KY, officiated by Bro. John Batcher. Burial will follow in Cox Cemetery.

Visitation is requested from 11amET to 12:30pmET on Friday, July 24, 2020 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.



Leona Pike of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Robert E. Lee Kilby and Nettie Louvena Cave Kilby, was born August 10, 1928 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 8:38 P.M., Tuesday, July 21, 2020 in Campbellsville.

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Eastside Baptist Church.

She was a God fearing woman who dearly loved her family, especially her little grandbabies.

Leona was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom and Taylor Regional Hospital.

She united in marriage to Charlie Thomas Pike May 19, 1945 and he preceded her in death January 30, 1985.

Leona is survived by one son, Paul Pike and wife, Beverly; daughter-in-law, Johanna Pike of Campbellsville: three grandchildren: Allen Pike and wife, Christy, Karen Delk and Kevin Pike and wife, Tina of Campbellsville; twelve great-grandchildren: eight great-great-grandchildren; two sisters: Herlene Kilby and Ruth Van Cleave and husband, Bill of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

She was also preceded in death by two sons: George Lee Pike April 30, 2012 and Robert Thomas Pike in infancy; two granddaughters: Patricia Wilcoxson and Cathy Pike, and three brothers and two sisters: Lee Roy Kilby, Elza Kilby, Howard Kilby, Naomi Jones and Ella Wagner.

Expressions of sympathy requested to be donations to Gideon Bibles and may be made through Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.
