Becky Cox, 81, Campbellsville, KY (1938-2020)

Becky Cox of Campbellsville passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2020. She was 81 years old.

The funeral service will be held at 1pmET on Tuesday, July 21, 2020, at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Ave., Campbellsville, KY, officiated by Rev. Don Gowin. Burial will follow in Hogards Chapel Cemetery.

Visitation is requested from 11amET to 12:30pmET on Tuesday, July 21, 2020, at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.

Masks will be required before entry.



Becky Cox of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Finis McMahan and Nona Hinton McMahan, was born December 27, 1938 in Taylor County, Kentucky.

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Fairview Baptist Church. Becky was the adult Sunday school teacher since 1980 until her health failed. She was a good hearted woman who was ready to help at a moment's notice. She enjoyed traveling and was fun to be around.

Becky was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom.

She united in marriage to Darell Cox March 1, 1980.

Besides her husband, Darell Cox, she is survived by two daughters: Tammy Porter and husband, Gary of Campbellsville, Kentucky and Melissa Benfield of Gilbertsville, Kentucky; three grandchildren: Candace Anglin of Conway, South Carolina, Chase Porter and wife, Rachel of Louisville, Kentucky and Hannah Grimes of St. Louis, Missouri; three great-grandchildren: Aubree Anglin, Porter Anglin and Brooks Porter; three sisters: Barbara Kerr Murphy and husband, George and Carolyn Woods of Campbellsville, Kentucky and Juanita Feamster and husband, Allan of Thousand Oaks, California; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

She was also preceded in death by a son-in-law, Don Benfield, great grandson, Thomas Porter and one brother, Randall McMahan.

Expressions of sympathy requested to be donations to Hosparus of Green River or Gideon Bibles and may be made through Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.
