Lyle Spears, 75, Burkesville, KY (1944-2020) Lyle Spears of Burkesville passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green. He was 75 years old. The funeral service will be held at 11amCT on Friday, June 19, 2020, at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, Burkesville, KY, with burial to follow in Burkesville Cemetery. The family requests visitation from 5pmCT until 9pmCT on Thursday, June 18, 2020, at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home. Lyle was born on December 2, 1944 in Cumberland County, KY to the late Justice Spears and Lela Pruitt Spears. He was a member of Branham Grove Missionary Baptist Church and longtime self employed mechanic. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one grandson, Justice Ferrill, five sisters, Lisa Faye Spears, Anna Joyce Spears, Ruby Loyce Spears, Barbara Pearl Guffey, Dorothy Avo Scott, and one brother, Larry Spears.
