Brenda Sue Price, 77, Green Co., KY (1943-2020)

Brenda Sue Price of Green Co. passed away on June 15, 2020. She was 77 years old.

Funeral services for Mrs. Brenda Sue Price will be conducted at 1pmCT on Sunday, June 20, 2020 at the Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home, 209 W Court St., Greensburg, KY, with Bro. Meryl Young and Bro. Charles Yell officiating. Burial will follow in the Hodges Chapel Cemetery in Summersville.

Visitation will be from 5pmCT to 8pmCT on Saturday, and after 7amCT on Sunday at the Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home.



Mrs. Brenda Sue Price was born February 27, 1943 in Green County, Kentucky to the late Pete Carlandus Parker and Essie McCubbin Parker. She departed this life Monday, June 15, 2020 having attained the age of 77 years 3 months and 16 days.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Hodges Chapel United Methodist Church where she played piano. She worked as a payroll specialist at the KFC Yum Brands. Her favorite thing was her family. She was united in marriage to her husband James W. Bud Price. She was preceded in death by two brothers: Larry Parker and Wilber Parker.

Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters: Kathy Price Cockrum and her husband Robert of Owensboro, Karen Cecil and her husband Tom of Louisville; one step-sister: Mary Lois Druin; one step-brother: Ray Perkins; three grandchildren: Jaime Embry and her husband Eric of Hopkinsville, Garrett Milby and his wife Jetona Milby of Campbellsville, and Nathan Cecil of Louisville; five great grandchildren. Plus, a host of other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers: Roger Skaggs, Johnny Robert Price, Michael Price, Frank Price, Barry Ward, and Morris Whitlow

Honorary Pallbearers: Robert Cockrum, Tom Cecil, Eric Embry, Nathan Cecil, and Gage Kessler

The family has requested that expressions of sympathy be donations to Hodges Chapel Cemetery Fund. These can be made at funeral home.
