Tommy Hunt, 76, Campbellsville, KY (1944-2020)

Tommy Hunt of Campbellsville passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2020. He was 76 years old.

A private funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2020 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville, officiated by Bill Sanders. Burial will follow in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.

A walk-through visitation will be held from 11amET to 12:30pmET on Thursday.



Tommy Hunt of Campbellsville, son of the late John Edgar Hunt and Dellia Short Hunt, was born January 14, 1944 in Shelbyville, Indiana. He died at 8:31 P.M., Sunday, June 7, 2020 in Louisville.

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

Tommy managed several service stations over the years and had worked in blacktopping for Nally & Gibson.

He loved riding around in his truck and visiting the Peddlers Malls.

He united in marriage to Arlene White November 10, 1967.

Besides his wife, Arlene Hunt of Campbellsville, he is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Ricky and Veronica Hunt of Campbellsville; five grandchildren: Kristin Rash and husband, Jed and Cody Hunt of Lexington, Jackson Hunt, Adin Hunt, and Kaleigh Hunt of Campbellsville; two great-granddaughters: Harper Rash and Nora Rash of Lexington; two sisters: Dorothy Graham Skaggs and Bonnie Hunt of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Tommy was also preceded in death by a son, David Hunt July 19, 2001 and four brothers and two sisters: Paul Eric Hunt, John Hunt, Bud Hunt, Earl Hunt, Irene Benge and Joyce Hunt.

Expressions of sympathy are requested for the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association and may be made through Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.
