Census in Adair getting high response rate By Helene Kramer Longton “The Census Bureau would like to extend our congratulations to the people of Adair County for their high response rate,” said Fernando Armstrong, regional director of the Philadelphia Region of the U.S. Census Bureau, which includes Kentucky. “Your response matters and will help your community get the accurate count it needs to secure federal funding for critical public services like roads, healthcare and education." "While practicing 'social distancing,' we urge everyone to respond to the census while at home. This will help reduce the number of census takers we need to send door-to-door to count those households that don’t respond to the 2020 Census." All across Kentucky, people are stepping up and responding from home where it's never been easier. For those with internet access, you can respond on line at www.2020census.gov. If not, respond by phone toll- free at 1-888-330-2020 or by U.S. Mail, no postage required." This story was posted on 2020-05-29 07:22:02
