Phillip Dale Combest, 78, Russell Springs, KY (1941-2020) Phillip Dale Combest of Russell Springs passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2020, at the Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset, after a long battle with cancer. Cremation was his choice, with his remains in the Sidney Campbell Family Cemetery. All services will be held privately. Online condolences may be left at bernardfuneralhome.com. He was born August 26, 1941 in Creelsboro to Philip and Ruth Bledsoe Combest, both of whom preceded him in death. Phillip managed an insurance services and inspection firm for 25 years before starting his own regional firm, Philco Reports, in 1986, which he owned and operated for 15 years in Cincinnati until his retirement and return to Russell Springs to live.
