Garmoline Carpenter, 91, Russell Springs, KY (1928-2020)

Garmoline Carpenter of Russell Springs passed away on Monday, April 13, 2020, at the Hospice of Lake Cumberland, Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset. She was 91 years old.

All services will be held privately. Online condolences may be left at bernardfuneralhome.com.



She was born November 18, 1928 in Russell County to the late Chester & Eva Hammonds Gosser.

She was a retired school teacher.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kamos Carpenter and a brother, Garmon Gosser

Survivors include:
  • Her son, Dante Carpenter, Rusell Springs
  • Her granddaughter, Elise Carpenter
Pallbearers: Ted Adkins, Josh Tarter, Josh Bennett, Micah Thomas, Nick Cunningham, Eddie Harris

Special music: Yvonne Emerson

Memorials suggested to the Union Cemetery Fund. These can be made to Beverly Grimes, P.O. Box 2273, Russell Springs or Bernard Funeral Home, Russell Springs

Bernard Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
