Joseph Garnet Hammond, 87, Russell Springs, KY (1932-2020)

Joseph Garnet Hammond of Russell Springs passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at his home. He was 87 years old.

He was born November 19, 1932 to the late Louis David & Alpha Smith Hammond.

Joe was an auto mechanic and a member of Fairview Separate Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Ruby Hammond and a brother, Robert Hammond.

Survivors include:
  • His wife: Mayrene Hammond, Russell Springs
  • A son: David (Margaret) Hammond, Bee Spring, Ky
  • Two sisters: Ruth Hopkins, Russell Springs, and Betty Stephens, Russell Springs.
Bernard Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
