ACSO: $30K in methamphetamine seized at traffic stop By Sheriff Josh Brockman Adair County Sheriff's Office The Adair County Sheriff's Office has been receiving numerous complaints in the area of Snake Creek of possible drug activity and has been working in the area investigating those complaints. On Wednesday, March 25, 2020, at 9:23pmCT, Deputy Joey Keith initiated a traffic stop on a 2001 Ford car in the area. Roadside investigation led to the belief there were illegal narcotics in the vehicle. As a result a search was conducted. Deputies recovered 1.3 pounds of crystal methamphetamine with a street value of over $30,000, along with scales, pills, and a large amount of cash. The subject was also found to be in possession of a .380 caliber handgun that was listed as stolen from a neighboring county. Levi Abbott, 37, of Russell Springs, KY, was lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail by Deputy Joey Keith on charges of:
