School work is going right on in student's homes

Parents find themselves doing creative school at home. Juan and Jessica Ayala of Columbia are making the best of these unusual circumstances.

Like most events, local schools are closed through April 10, 2020 due to the threat of coronavirus. Many parents are finding themselves homeschooling for the first time.

Mom, Jessica, says their boys, Gabriel, who just turned 6, and Christian, 7, are enjoying the new educational setting, but they miss their teachers and classmates.

These are the days of creative school at home and Juan and Jessica Ayala of Columbia are making the best of unusual circumstances. Their sons/students are Gabriel, left, who is just turning six, and is in Kindergarten, while big brother Cristian is seven-years-old and is in first grade. Mom Jessica shared on her Instagram page that the boys are enjoying the new educational setting, but miss their teachers and classmates.
