Joyce Elizabeth Ward, 82, Summersville, KY (1938-2020) Mrs. Joyce Elizabeth Williams Ward passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2020. She was 82 years old. The funeral service will be held at 11amCT on Wednesday, February 19, 2020, at Summersville Baptist Church, Hodgenville Road, Greensburg, KY, with Bro. Dickie Scott and Bro. Daniel Marcum officiating. Burial will follow in Green County Memory Gardens, Summersville. Visitation is requested from 5pmCT until 8pmCT on Tuesday, February 18, 2020, and after 7amCT on Wednesday at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home, and after 9amCT on Wednesday at Summersville Baptist Church. Mrs. Joyce Elizabeth Williams Ward was born January 29, 1938 in Cumberland County KY to the late Edd A. and Edna Gladys Radford Williams. She departed this life Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at Blake Medical Center in Bradenton, Florida, having attained the age of eighty-two years and thirteen days. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Summersville Baptist Church. She was a retired teacher. She taught for thirty-six years. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband: Henry Lee Ward, one son: Roger Lane Ward, two brothers: Kenneth and Russell Williams and one infant sister: Inis Williams. She is survived by one son: Michael Ward and his wife Kim of Bradenton, Florida, five grandchildren: Brady, Wade, Logan, and Cody Ward and Dora Ward Barrett, three great grandchildren: Tip, Emery and Jack Barrett. Pallbearers: Brady Ward, Wade Ward, Cody Ward, Logan Ward, Brian Jones, Ryan Williams Honorary Pallbearers: Mike Radford, Tim Marr, Phillip Hay, Henry Shuffett, Gregg Williams, Roger Skaggs The family has requested that expressions of sympathy be donations to Summersville Baptist Church. These can be made at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home or at the church. Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences at .fostertolercurry.com.
