Gene Lewis, 74, Liberty, KY (1945-2020) Wilmot Eugene "Gene" Lewis of Liberty passed away on Monday February 10th, 2020 at his residence. He was 74 years old. Funeral Services will be held at 2pmET on Thursday, February 13, 2020, at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel, 142 KY Hwy 49, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Dwight Coffman officiating. Burial will follow in the Tapscott Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6pmET until 9pmET on Wednesday, February 12, 2020, and after 8amET on Thursday, February 13, 2020 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. He was born in Danville, KY on July 25th, 1945 a son of the late William Henry Lewis and Nannie Belle Lynn Lewis. Gene was a former employee of Watsons' Sawmill. Survivors include: His Spouse: Nellie Louise Coffman Lewis, One Son: Michael Lewis of Liberty and One Daughter: Annabell Lewis of Liberty. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to Bartle Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses. Bartle Funeral Home Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
