Charles Thomas (Tom) Milby, 77, Campbellsville, KY (1942-2020)

Mr. Charles Thomas "Tom" Milby of Campbellsville passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2020. He was 77 years old.

The funeral arrangements for Mr. Charles Thomas "Tom" Milby are incomplete at this time, but will be announced later by the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg. Burial will be in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.



Mr. Charles Thomas "Tom" Milby of Campbellsville, Kentucky, son of the late Raven Thomas Milby and Laeola Akin Milby, was born on Tuesday, December 8, 1942 in Green County, Kentucky and departed this life on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at the Jewish Hospital in Louisville. He was 77 years, one month, and 21 days of age.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Campbellsville First United Methodist Church. He was a life insurance agent with Met Life for 35 years, and later established Tom Milby Financial Services Inc. He was a member of the Greensburg Masonic Lodge #F&AM, and was also a Lieutenant in the Army National Guard where he attended Officer Candidate School.

Survived by his wife of 55 years, Charlotte Atwell Milby of Campbellsville, having united in marriage on July 18, 1964.

Other survivors include an aunt: Ann Akin of Greensburg; an uncle: Leonard Milby of Greensburg; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law: Rick and Deb Atwell of Greensburg, and Rhonda Atwell of Columbia; niece and nephew: Kali Edward of Prospect, and Josh Atwell of Versailles; two great-nieces: Marley Edwards and Sophia Edwards both of Prospect; and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Gideon Bible Fund or the Alzheimer's Association, which can be made at the funeral home.
