Mitchell Castillo, Jr., 43, Campbellsville, KY (1976-2019) Mitchell Castillo, Jr. of Campbellsville passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2019. He was 43 years old. A family visitation will be held at 3pmCT on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home, 206 South Main Street, Greensburg, KY. A public visitation will be held from 4pmCT to 8pmCT on Saturday, December 14, 2019, at Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home. Mitchell Castillo, Jr. of Campbellsville, Kentucky, son of Mitchell Castillo, Sr. of Greensburg and Patricia York Hill of Elizabethtown, was born on Wednesday, November 24, 1976 in Haywood, California and deported this life on Sunday, December 8, 2019 at the University of Louisville Hospital. He was 43 years, and 14 days of age. He had made a profession of faith in Christ, and was a truck driver for Waste Connections of Taylor County. Mr. Castillo was also a former member of the Army National Guard. Besides his parents, he is survived by his wife: Michelle Stinson Castillo of Campbellsville; step-mother: Belva Castillo of Greensburg; grandmother: Magdalina Castillo of California; three children: Kaleb Castillo, Alexis Castillo, and Keagan Shearer all of Campbellsville; a brother: Jason Castillo of Scottsville; and a host of other relatives and friends. Mr. Castillo was preceded in death by a sister, Jessica Castillo Minton in 2014. Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences at cowherdandparrott.com.
