Betty Leah Overstreet, 82, Russell Springs, KY (1936-2019) Betty Leah Wright Overstreet of Russell Springs passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2019, at the Fair Oaks Nursing Home in Jamestown. She was 82 years old. The funeral service for Betty Leah Overstreet will be held at 10amCT on Thursday, December 5, 2019 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 N. Main St., Russell Springs, KY with Bro. David Blair officiating. Interment will follow in the Russell Springs City Cemetery. Visitation is requested from 5pmCT until 8pmCT on Wednesday and from 8amCT to 10amCT on Thursday. She was born November 2, 1936 in Albany, Ky to the late Oda Sherman & Mallie Leaf Massengale Wright. Betty was a member of French Valley United Methodist Church. She had retired from Fruit of the Loom. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Knox Wright.
