Robert Neal Jessie, 65, Columbia, KY (1954-2019) He was owner and operator of R & S Transport Trucking. He was a former volunteer fireman for the Campbellsville Fire Department. Robert Neal Jessie of Columbia passed away on November 8, 2019. He was 65 years old. Funeral services will be held at 11amCT on Tuesday, November 12, 2019, at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home, 209 W Court St., Greensburg, KY. Burial will follow in the Greasy Creek Cemetery, Exie Community of Green County. Visitation is requested after 4pmCT on Monday and after 7amCT on Tuesday. Robert Neal Jessie of Columbia, KY, son of the late Earl Jessie and Alice Earnestine Edwards Jessie was born on Tuesday, June 1, 1954 in Green County and departed this life at 5:20 p.m. on November 8, 2019 at T.J. Health Columbia. He was 65 years, 5 months and 7 days of age. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of South Summersville Baptist Church. He was owner and operator of R & S Transport Trucking. He was a former volunteer fireman for the Campbellsville Fire Department. He is survived by two daughters: Kelly Parker and husband, Anthony, Jessica Weatherford and husband, J.T., his grandchildren: Justin Parker, Jacob Parker, Jalynn Parker, Lathan Weatherford. One brother, David Jessie and a sister-in-law, Kathy Jessie, all of Campbellsville and one special aunt, Pearl Tarter of Louisville, KY and a host of other family and friends. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Johnnie Jessie. Pallbearers: Stephen Bishop, Jeremy Jessie, Richard England, David Jessie, Bobby Edwards, Justin Parker Honorary Pallbearers: Jacob Parker, Jalynn Parker, Lathan Weatherford The family has requested that expressions of sympathy be donations to Hosparus of Green River or to the Gideons for Bibles.
