Karen Sue (Dunbar) Lawless, 54, of Jamestown, died Thursday, October 10, 2019 at her home.

Funeral service for Karen Sue Lawless will be held at 11amCT on Monday, October 14, 2019 at the Creelsboro Christian Church, 4305 KY-379, Jamestown, KY, with Bro. Larry Johnson and Bro. Bill Welker officiating. Interment will follow in the Keeton Cemetery.

Visitation 5 PM. Sunday at Bernard Funeral Home and 10 AM-11 AM. on Monday at the church.


She was born October 17, 1964 in Belleville, Ill to Eris Dunbar and the late Juanita McFarland Dunbar.

She was a factory worker and a member of Creelsboro Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her mother, and a brother, David Dunbar.

Survivors include:
  • Her husband: Gary Lawless, Jamestown
  • Four children: T.J. (Rachel) Mann, Jamestown, Matthew (Kelly) Mann, Jamestown, Michael Lawless, Jamestown, and Layton Garner, Jamestown
  • Four grandchildren: Khloe Cooper, Skylar Luttrell, Jase Mann, and Addison Mann
  • Her father & step-mother: Eris & Evelyn Dunbar, Russell Springs
  • Four sisters: Jeanetta Stogsdille, Somerset, Carol Hensley, Shepherdsville, Ky, Brenda Samuel, Russell Springs, and Debbie Owens, Monticello, Ky
  • Her brother: Michael Dunbar, Russell Springs
  • Two half-sisters: Missie Dye, Russell Springs, Susan Nordhous, Illinois
