Willard Bennett, 68, Greensburg, KY (1951-2019) Mr. Willard Bennett of Greensburg passed away on Monday, September 30, 2019. He was 68 years of age. The funeral services for Mr. Willard Bennett will be conducted at 3pmET on Thursday, October 3, 2019, at Auberry - Gupton & Chandler Funeral Home, 503 East Main St., Campbellsville, KY, with Bro. Kelvin Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in the P. Milby Cemetery in the Gabe Community of Green County. Visitation is requested after 10amET on Thursday at the funeral home until the time of the service. Mr. Willard Bennett, of Greensburg, son of the late Lenney Bennett and Nora Bell Turner Bennett, was born on January 12, 1951 in Cumberland County, Kentucky and departed this life on September 30, 2019. Willard professed faith in Christ and was a devout Christian. He was a carpenter by trade and enjoyed using his talents to build for others. He is survived by one daughter: Windy Montgomery and husband Hayden of Magnolia; two grandchildren: Addison Sanders and Bentley Montgomery both of Magnolia; Three brothers and three sisters: Ed Bennett and Mary Huckaby of Greensburg, Elbert Bennett and wife Pauline of Campbellsville, Betsy Cole of Columbia, Dorothy Jessie of Bowling Green and Cornelle Bennett of Louisville. Willard was preceded in death by five brothers: James Bennett, Joe Bennett, Leroy Bennett, Junior Bennett and Raymond Bennett. Pallbearers: Ed Bennett, Elbert Bennett, Donnie Edwards, Donnie Pruitt, Sean Nelson, Syndal Nelson The family has asked that expressions of sympathy be in the form of donations to the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge in Lexington and those can be made at Auberry - Gupton & Chandler Funeral Home.
