Bernice Osborne, 87, Taylor County, KY (1931-2019)

Bernice Osborne of Louisville, formerly of Campbellsville, KY departed this life on Sunday, September 15, 2019. She was 87 years of age.

The funeral services will be conducted at 10amCT/11amET Thursday, September 19, 2019 at Auberry - Gupton & Chandler Funeral Home, Campbellsville, with burial to follow in the Harden Cemetery.

Visitation is requested from 5-8pm Wednesday, September 18, 2019 and after 7am Thursday until the time of the funeral service. Pallbearers will be grandchildren.



She was the daughter of the late Gus and Flossie Cox Edelen was born on October 10, 1931 in Taylor County, Kentucky.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a homemaker.

She united in marriage to Bill Osborne who preceded her in death on February 14, 1979.

Ms. Osborne is survived by 3 sons and 6 daughters: Mary Francis Burton and husband Robert of Campbellsville, Karen Marie Kearney of Berea, Judy Gail Linker and husband John of Taylorsville, Constance Farmer Harkness and husband Glen, Bonnie Klempner, Patricia Joyce Bergin and husband Walter, Roger Lee Farmer and wife Doris, Michael Otis Farmer and wife Nancy, and James Allen Farmer all of Louisville. Many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren. One sister: Betty Lou Hunt of Campbellsville. Several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

She was also preceded in death by one son, Ancil Lee Farmer in 2012, and three sisters and two brothers: Clara Hogan, Opal Decker, Ruth Ann Cox, Mitchell Edelen and James Edelen.

The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Green River Animal Shelter.

Arrangements are entrusted to Auberry - Gupton & Chandler Funeral Home.
