Kennith L. Stephens, 87, of Russell Springs, died Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at the Russell County Hospital.

Funeral service for Kennith L. Stephens will be 2pmCT Saturday, August 31, 2019 at the Russell Springs Christian Church with Bro. Carroll Egnew and Bro. Donnie Emerson officiating. Visitation will be 10-2 Saturday at the church. Private burial in the Russell Springs City Cemetery.



He was born October 10, 1931 in Russell County to the late Ottis & Ruth Bennett Stephens.

Kennith was an insurance agent, a member of Russell Springs Christian Church and a Veteran of US Navy.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Wilma Dean Burdeshaw, Joyce Faye Camilleri; 1 brother, Gradith Stephens

Survivors include

His wife: Darlene Stephens, Russell Springs

Two children: Lateshia (Mark) Johnson, Campbiellsville; Sheldon (Tamara) Stephens, Russell Springs

Four grandchildren: Lauren Johnson, Meredith Johnson, Chandra (Nick) Barnes, Garret (Rachel) Stephens

Sister-in-law: Joy Stephens, Russell Springs.

Bernard Funeral Home, 367 N Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, is in charge of arrangements
