Pooch Grider, 86, Russell County, KY (1933-2019)

Pooch Grider, 86, of Jamestown, KY passed away Sunday, August 25, 2019.

Funeral services will be held at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel at 11amCT Wednesday, August 28, 2019 with Bro. Bill Welker and Bro. Jason Walters officiating. Friends may visit Tuesday 5-8pmCT.

Burial in Jamestown Cemetery Jamestown, KY with full Military Honors by the Russell County Honor Squad.



Pooch was born in Jamestown August 21, 1933, a son of the late Geneva (Meadows) and Voliver Grider. He served in the U.S. Army and was a painter until retirement.

He was the husband of Desda (Taylor) Grider, of Jamestown, KY

Pooch is also survived by

Two sons Terry (Deana) Grider, and Tim Grider, both of Jamestown, KY;

Granddaughter LeeAnn Grider, of Campbellsville, KY

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Family requests memorial donations to the Jamestown Christian Church Youth and can be made at the funeral home.

Pruitt Funeral Home, Russell Springs, KY in charge of arrangements
