Mary Eunice Bishop, 81, Greensburg, KY (1937-2019)

Mary Eunice Bishop passed away on Thursday, August 22, 2019 at Harrison Memorial Hospital in Cynthiana, KY. She was 81 years old.

The funeral service will be held at 1pmCT on Monday, August 26, 2019, at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home, 209 W Court St., Greensburg, KY, with Bro. Steve Janes and Bro. Clifton Sullivan officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg, KY.

Visitation is requested from 5pmCT until 8pmCT on Sunday and after 7amCT on Monday.


Mary Eunice Bishop was born October 28, 1937 in Scott County, KY to the late Walter Thomas Perkins, Sr. and Alice Frances Adair Perkins. She departed this life Thursday, August 22, 2019 at Harrison Memorial Hospital in Cynthiana, KY, having attained the age of age eighty-one years, ten months and 6 days.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Green Hill Baptist Church. She was a Life Member of the James L. Pruitt VFW Post 5813 Auxiliary, Greensburg, KY, a member of the Rod Lowe American Legion Post 124 Auxiliary, Greensburg, Greensburg Historical Society and Harrodsburg Historical Society. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband George Mason Bishop, two brothers: Walter Perkins, Jr. and Charles Kenneth Perkins and one sister: Jeannette Ann Miller and one grandson: Micheal Price.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law: Lewis Price, Jr and his wife Becky of Harrodsburg and Billy Price and his wife Sharon of Stanford, five grandchildren: Daphne Dawn Woodrum, B. J., Chad, Jeffrey and Frankie Price, and fourteen great grandchildren, plus a host of other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers: Daryl Parnell, Rusty Milby, Nelson Jeffries, Woodson Risen, Robbie Beard and Adam Rainwater

Honorary Pallbearers: Daphanie Woodrum, Chad Price, Jeffrey Price, Frankie Price, B.J. Price, Jason Atwell
