James Edward Bell, 81, Edmonton, KY (1938-2019)

James Edward Bell of Edmonton passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow. He was 81 years old.

Graveside services will be held 1pmCT on Saturday, August 10, 2019, at the Union Chapel Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5pmCT until 8pmCT on Friday at Butler Funeral Home, 201 East St., Edmonton, KY.


He was the son of the late James German Bell and Irene Shirley Bell. He was a farmer and member of the Foundation Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife Janet Bell of Edmonton. Two sons. David James Bell and Ricky (Sonya) Bell all of Edmonton. Two grandchildren. James Maxwell Bell and Frankie Ray Bell. One great great grandchild James Raylen Bell. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Ralph Bell.
