Rosetta Parnell Montgomery, 95, Adair County, KY Rosetta Parnell Montgomery, 95, of Columbia, died Sunday, August 4, 2019 at her daughter's home. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at 2pmCT at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. David Karnes & Blake Perkins officiating. Burial will follow in Jones Chapel Cemetery. Visitation after 5pmCT Tuesday Casket Bearers will be Jerry Montgomery, Blake Perkins, Kyle Moffett, David Sharp, Kenny Perkins & Chad Dorris. She was born December 27, 1923 in Green County to the late Taylor & Betsy Rogers Parnell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles "Charlie" Montgomery, one infant son, Bobby Montgomery, six sisters, two brothers & one beloved son-in-law, Kirby Coomer. Rosetta was of the Baptist faith, attended Charity Baptist Church to serve her Lord and was a homemaker. Survivors Include: One Daughter - Mary Coomer Sharp & her husband Charles of Columbia Two Grandchildren - Rene Perkins & Jennifer Coomer both of Columbia One Great-Granddaughter - Magan Perkins (Kyle Moffett) of Greensburg One Great-Grandson - Blake Perkins & his wife Katie Beth of Greenville, KY One Great-Great-Grandson - Bracken Kyle Moffett of Greensburg One Sister - Betty Hancock of Indiana Several nieces, nephews and friends also survive Memorials are requested to Hosparus of Green River and may be left at the funeral home.
