Linda Propes Leach, 68, Casey Co., KY native (1950-2019) Linda Propes Leach, of Le Roy, Illinois, passed away on June 18, 2019, at her residence. She was 68 years old. A memorial service will be held at 1pmET on Monday, July 15, 2019, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville St, Liberty, KY, with Bro. George Ross officiating. Burial will follow in Green River Valley Cemetery. The family will receive friends from NoonET to 1pmET on Monday, July 15, 2019, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home. Born on July 9, 1950, in Casey County, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Gladys Brown Propes. Linda was a secretary at Second Church of Christ. She was a member at Eastview Church in Normal, Illinois. Linda loved quilting, cross stitching and loved her grandchildren dearly. She is survived by her husband, Steve Leach, who she wed on October 5, 1968; her daughter, Kim (Bob) McCreary of Normal, Illinois; a son, David (Jessica) Leach of Metamora, Illinois; and seven grandchildren. Other survivors include a sister, Judy (Larry) Atkinson of Winchester; a brother, Dale (Wanda) Propes of Frankfort; and a brother in law, Ted Leach of Florida. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Dallas Propes. Arrangements are entrusted to McKinney-Brown Funeral Home. An online guestbook is available at mckinneybrown.com.
