Regina Campbell Rowe, 89, Adair County, KY (1930-2019)

She loved being with her family, sewing, gardening, shopping and traveling. She was a longtime member of the Columbia United Methodist Church. Most of her career was spent as an LPN before retiring in 2011.

Regina Campbell Rowe, 89, of Columbia, KY died Sunday, June 2, 2019 at Baptist Health Lexington.

Funeral services will be 11amCT Thursday, June 6, 2019 at the Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with burial in the Haven Hill Cemetery. Dr. John Hatton will be officiating and pallbearers will be Mark McKelvey, Preston Rogers, Todd Rogers, Johnathan Rowe, Barry Rowe and Jonathon Holmes. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4-8pm at the funeral home.



She was born in Columbia, KY June 2, 1930. She was the daughter of the late Tause and Lydia Yarberry Campbell and wife of the late Milford Reburn Rowe.

She worked at White Cash Market in Columbia and later worked many years at Union Underwear in Campbellsville. In 1976 she enrolled in nursing school and worked most of her career at Summit Manor Nursing Home and Cumberland Valley Nursing Home as an LPN before retiring in 2011.

She was a longtime member of the Columbia United Methodist Church. She loved being with her family, sewing, gardening, shopping and traveling.

Survivors include a daughter Randy Rogers (Edwin) of Lexington; a son Kenzie Rowe (Beverly) of Columbia; six grandchildren Amy Rogers McKelvey (Mark) of Union, KY, Preston Rogers (Bethany) of Lexington, KY, Todd Rogers of Atlanta, GA, Johnathan Rowe (Kelly) of Independence, KY, Barry Rowe (Izabela) of Louisville and Cortney Rowe Holmes (Jonathon) of Columbia; eight great grandchildren Palmer McKelvey, Taylor Price Rogers, Paxton McKelvey, Berkley Kate Rogers, Miles Rowe, Nolan Rowe, Reeves Rogers and Rowen Holmes.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers L.T. and O. B. Campbell and a sister Betty Jane Kuyawa.

Memorial gifts suggested to Columbia United Methodist Church.

Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY, is in charge of arrangements.
