Max England, 78, Louisville, KY (1940-2019) Max was the son of the late Joe and Elva England. He was a devoted teacher for 33 years at Fairdale High School, and he was a member of Summits Heights UMC. Maxie Joe England, 78 of Louisville, passed away May 18, 2019. Funeral services will be 12 PM EDT Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at Summit Heights United Methodist Church, 7400 Outer Loop, Louisville, KY, with burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from NoonET until 8pmET on Tuesday, May 21, 2019, at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home, 4400 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY. He was born on June 24, 1940, the son of the late Joe and Elva England. Max was a devoted teacher for 33 years at Fairdale High School, and he was a member of Summits Heights UMC. Left to cherish Max's memories are his beloved wife of 54 years: Judy Hawkins England; his children: Eric (Christel) England and Sonya (Joe) Worthington; his grandsons: Matt and David England and Joe Worthington III; his sister: Ricky (Bob) Clutterbuck of Columbia; and his beloved pet: Zack and a host of other friends and relative in Adair County, KY.
