Mildred Frances Wilson, 88, Columbia, KY (1931-2019) Mildred was a homemaker and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Mildred Frances Wilson of Columbia (formerly of Russell County) died Monday, May 13, 2019 at the T J Health Columbia Hospital. She was 88 years old. The funeral service for Mildred Frances Wilson will be held at 11amCT on Friday, May 17, 2019 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 N. Main St., Russell Springs, KY with Rev. Bill Davenport officiating. Interment will follow in the Haven Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4pmCT until 8pmCT on Thursday and after 8amCT on Friday until the funeral time at 1pmCT. She was born February 20, 1931 in Russell County to the late Lester B. & Rosa Meece Smith. Mildred was a homemaker and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Curtis L. Wilson and also her late husband Ermel Wilson. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Alpha Hammond and Orpha Roy, and four brothers, Delno Smith, Arlie Smith, Doris "Smitty" Smith, Jerry Dean Smith. Survivors include a sister, Eleanor Rogers, of Louisville, KY, and a host of nieces & nephews. Bernard Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences at bernardfuneralhome.com.
